Donate Now Through!

It is through the strong belief and collective action of staff, volunteers, board members and donors, united with the courage of the 2,892 survivors whom we served in 2018 alone, that we can make a difference in our community. A donation to the Central Okanagan Elizabeth Fry Society fosters strategies that move beyond the crisis toward long term safety and economic security for the people that we are here to help.

All donations make a tangible impact for the programs below:

Sexual Assault Counselling for Youth & Adults
  • Your contribution will provide direct support to children and adults accessing specialized therapeutic services in order to overcome the effects of sexual assault and child sexual abuse.
Youth Prevention Programs
  • Girls United is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of pre-teen and adolescent girls. Our goal is to foster the safe and healthy emotional development of young girls by strengthening their sense of connection, belonging and resiliency. This program provides an opportunity for girls to live safer, healthier lives and fulfill their rights to freedom from violence, exploitation and abuse
  • Tough Guise is a school-based primary prevention and intervention program designed for adolescent boys.  It will explore the dominant features of pop culture and its steady stream of images that define manhood as being connected to dominance, violence and control.  The goal is to empower the next generation of boys to challenge the myths of what it means to be a real man and to develop healthy relationships throughout their lives.
Specialized Victim Assistance Program
  • Specialized Victim Assistance provides crisis response, risk assessment; safety planning; court support/accompaniment; and practical and emotional support to adult and child victims of family and sexual violence for all victims of family/sexual violence. This includes: Adult victims of violence in relationships, sexual assault, criminal harassment, and survivors of childhood physical and sexual abuse, child and youth victims of physical and sexual abuse, child and youth witnesses of violence in relationships.
General Funds
  • General Funds are not tied to a specific program. These donations help run the agency and are distributed to whichever program needs it most urgently.
